​During the summer vacation, He Shan, a Bangladeshi student from College of Mathematics and Computer, participated in the 2022 My Beautiful Encounter with China hosted by Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange.

In order to better performance in this competition, He Shan thoughtfully paid a visit to Zhang Yun, a tea art specialist at Yifu Primary School, and visited Zhang Xiaohong, an Intangible Cultural Heritage master for her Grass Cloth Embroidery. Thus he experienced Chinese tea art, Grass Cloth Embroidery and other regional traditional cultures, and shared his unforgettable cultural experience in short video.

In addition, He Shan also joined the 2022 My Story of Chinese Hanzi and iYunnan Short Video & Essay Contest. He shared his experience and feelings in learning Chinese characters, and finally won the Excellent Award in the iYunnan Short Video & Essay Contest.

These competitions aim to promote the profound nature of Chinese characters, traditional Chinese values, and the aspiration for mutual respect, equity, justice, and mutually beneficial cooperation.
