Ashland University of the United States to discuss cooperation
In order to provide our students with more opportunities to study at overseas universities, broaden their international perspective, and promote their high-quality development, on the morning of March 27th, Troy Miller, the Director of International Admissions at Ashland University (AU) in the United States, along with his colleagues were invited to discuss deeper cooperation between AU and Xinyu University (XYU). They also delivered a lecture on the 3+1+1 master's degree programs. The Office of International Cooperation and Exchange organized over 120 students from various majors across the university to attend this session.
During the meeting, both parties engaged in comprehensive discussions regarding student exchanges, master's programs, and summer camp projects. Troy Miller introduced Ashland as a beautiful and livable city in the United States while providing information about AU's characteristics, application requirements, and fee structure. He assisted students in scientifically planning their academic development direction by considering their majors, academic levels, and life goals. Additionally, he shared his years of work experience and personal insights to encourage students to be courageous in trying new things while emphasizing physical exercise as well as continuous improvement of their overall quality and international vision. During an interactive Q&A session held on-site, Troy Miller patiently addressed questions raised by students concerning dietary habits, daily expenses, and other matters related to studying abroad.
It is reported that moving forward, the two sides will engage in substantial cooperation for a summer camp project. Moreover, in July, this school plans to send students for a 14-day study program in the United States.
