Online meeting held between XYU and TAR UMT
On the afternoon of May 28th, an exchange program negotiation meeting (online) was held with Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology and Beijing Jinhong International Education Co., Ltd. External Staff of Exchange and Cooperation Centre and the heads of relevant teaching and research of the four majors attended the meeting.
The attending representatives exchanged opinions on the student exchanges of four majors: Marketing, Financial Management, Data Science and Big Data Technology, and Software Engineering. They reached an agreement on sending an equal number of students for exchange study from February to June each year, waiving tuition fees, minimum English proficiency requirements, course assessment methods, and academic evaluation. The two sides will further discuss the specific number of dispatched personnel, the number of professional courses and their academic scores that students will study during the exchange period.
It is reported that the two universities will sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the near future. This marks the beginning of substantive cooperation between the two sides, following the visit of representatives from Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology in October last year.
